TECHNICAL CUSTOMER MANAGER (Busbar and HV Cables)


Position objective:


The Technical Customer Manager, being a reliable partner to the sales department development, has an eager and effective role in reaching company sustainable growth providing efficient technical support to customers and OEMs, analyzing customers technical expectations, offering best-in-class products, mitigating risks, fostering innovation, technology and best practices, building competitiveness, unity and ownership, promoting ethics and commitment within our teams and communities and enforcing compliance internally and externally at all levels.

Additionally, the technical customer manager should demonstrate an exceptional mastery of the sales policies and procedures and strive to ensure they are effectively implemented in compliance with contracts agreements and customer technical specifications.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field.·   
  • Proven leadership experience in technical roles within the automotive cable industry, harness markers, particularly in Busbar and HV applications for electric vehicles.
  • Strong technical understanding of busbar and automotive cable design, manufacturing, and application.

Main Responsibilities:

 

Technical Expertise and Support:

  • Provide Technical guidance on Busbar and HV cables for EVs, including product specifications, performance characteristics, and application requirements.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory standards in the EV sector ensuring that our technical support remains at the forefront of developments. This involves maintaining close connections with the thriving electric vehicle community.
  • Incorporate real-time insights from the local electric vehicle ecosystem by working closely with the R&D and engineering teams to provide market feedback and guide product development.
  • Oversee the management of product approvals database.
  • Assist Tier 1s and OEMs in defining specifications for new products.
  • Assist customers with queries, troubleshooting, and after-sales support, ensuring seamless integration of our products within the evolving electric vehicle market dynamics of the EV OEMs.
  • Develop VAVE proposals to enhance product value stream. Additionally, manage products focusing on operational optimization and cost reduction.

 

Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Conduct market research to understand emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences in the EV cable market.
  • Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop long-term strategies for market expansion and product diversification, aligning closely with the unique demands of the electric vehicle industry.
