Job purpose

Insure that all assigned Purchasing and Supply Chain activities are executed in a manner that will support customer and internal Requirements. Manage Purchase Contracts, Costs and the implement of all related activities in support of the Production Purchase Parts and or Services.

Main responsibilities:

Responsible for issuing, summarizing and presenting RFQ's and results related to the sourcing or benchmarking of Production Parts and Services. compliance with corporate Supply Chain Strategies in Mandatory.

Responsible for the collection, maintenance and accuracy of purchasing records, files and documents within internal system.

Duration of this task is from plant program assignment to end of customer demand. This includes however is not limited to the following items: Supplier Master Files, Part Master Files, Purchase Orders and Contracts, Supplier Contact Information (Supplier Add and Assessment Form)

Responsible to assure that all Contracts and Purchase Orders comply with current Corporate Policies, Procedure and ISO/TS Standards.

Responsible for the development and maintenance of a timeline related ECN driven sourcing of Purchase Components, Raw Material, and Outsourced Activities.

Responsible for the Negotiation, recommendation and contract maintenance of all parts that fit with in the assigned commodities.

Responsible to attend Program and Plant Production meetings.

Champion all regional supplier commercial issues and assist the SQE and Accounting Departments with Supply Chain Problem resolution in the areas of Quality and AP.

Qualifications:

·Experience in buying raw material commodities

·Strong problem solving

·Strong analytical skills

·Demonstrative skills in

procurement activities,

negotiation skills, and a general

understanding of

procurement and contract management law.

·Ability to read and interpret engineering

drawings. ( GD&T a plus).

·Knowledge of ISO Quality standards, MIL specifications, etc. a plus.

·Experience in interacting with several departments and leading cross-functionalteams and projects.

·High-energy individual, self-starter, results focused.

·Excellent written, oral, communication, leadership and organizational skills

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree Industrial engineer or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3-5 years experience in similar job.

LANGUAGE: English advanced, Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
