Quality Assurance

ACF Technologies is looking for a Quality Assurance.

Job Purpose: Quality Assurance assesses software quality through manual and automated testing and is responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Use QA software adopted by the company to design/execute test cases
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Review and analyze system specifications/requirements for testability and completeness
• Identify logical contradictions and ambiguities in business or functional requirements
• Ensure projects comply with module-specific policies and standards when applicable
• Collaborate with Development and delivery teams to define effective test plans
• Execute test cases and analyze/report results
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs, errors, and functionality risks to Development and delivery teams
• Troubleshoot issues as needed
• Report test result trends to Team Lead
• Follow company SOPs related to the work
• English level: Very Good – Advanced, written and spoken.

Qualifications - Required Experience, Competencies, and Education:

• Proficiency in English language (written and verbal)
• Proven experience with Quality Assurance or similar role             
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
• Working knowledge of issue tracking tools (i.e., JIRA) and test management software (i.e., TestRail)
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail
• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required)
• Experience with relational databases (i.e., SQL)
