Main responsible for the Injection Production area as well as the preparation and administration of the Expenditure and CAPEX budget for all Technical areas (Processes, Robotics and Automation, Maintenance of machinery and equipment).

Description

- Ensure the plastic injection production area objectives are achieved.

- Participates in the approval of test requests issued by the engineering area (APQP) and coordinating the necessary activities to carry out the first production runs of the new molds.

- Performing technical calculations of all parts and molds of new businesses for manufacturing feasibility analysis.

- Implementation of SMED, 5S and Lean Manufacturing Best Practices and Continuous improvement projects.

- Follow Safety, C-TPAT, Ergonomics, Environmental and Quality standards defined by the Company

- Responsible for monitoring SCORE CARD metrics, as well as monitoring the completion of A3s for off-target metrics.

- Responsible for monitoring KPI metrics of his team and following up on the development of action plans for those that are off target, as well as hiring and training new personnel for his area.

Profile

- Minimum 7 years in Administration of the Plastic Injection area
- Vast technical knowledge and experience in Plastic Injection Molding Processes
- Experience handling high tonnage plastic injection machines
- Management of auxiliary equipment for the injection molding process: (Chiller, Thermoregulators, Air Cooling Towers, Mill, Vacuum Pumps, Dryers, Mixers)
- Knowledge of the properties of materials (Thermoplastics)
- Quality Management system
- Knowledge and Execution of the environmental, safety and hygiene management system
- Analysis and solution of problems
- Autocad / Solidworks
- Experience in technical calculations and quotation of parts of new projects with customers
- Experience in personnel management and administration (Superintendents)
- Experience in budgeting and purchasing machinery and equipment
