Customer Success Services (CSS) deliver product and implementation expertise to our customers, helping them get the most out of their Oracle Cloud investments. In the role of Functional SME within CSS you will be part of the NA Sales Team. The NA SALES TEAM supports Oracle's businesses in sales opportunities of Application Management Services (post-production application support and development services) from ideation through close. Working hand-in-hand with Sales Executives, Key Account Directors, Technical Account Managers and Application Sales Leaders, and as a Master Principal Sales Consultant, focuses their highly skilled efforts in developing relationships with qualified target decision-makers to build and uncover opportunities, develop effective sales strategies, lead the pursuit process and act as a key advisor to the pursuit team throughout the sales process. Specifically looking for experience with SaaS HCM (HR), ERP (Financials), SCM (Supply Chain), & Oracle Cloud. As a Functional Domain Leader/SME, work independently to drive net new sales in existing and greenfield clients across multiple industries for our Oracle Operate (Functional Services) offerings. Successful candidates need to have extensive experience in 2 or more Oracle Applications for either on-Premise, IaaS, PaaS Cloud or SaaS. Candidate should have participated in the delivery or sale of services through the support lifecycle including crafting strategic and tactical plans to generate greenfield opportunities. Must be able to independently build sales collateral to support client meetings and articulate Oracle application management services value propositions and market offering to internal and external business customers. Sales and delivery experience around upgrades, migrations, and post-production support is required. Plan for customer events and launches, partnering with organizations to ensure customer success during critical moments. Develop best practices and assets based on learnings from customer engagements to support outbound initiatives to accelerate cloud adoption Focus areas are functional help desk, integration/extension management, critical business process management and testing services. Candidates must be capable of leading large cloud services deals from discovery, solution build, contract close and hand over to Delivery. Candidates will function as Service/Domain Specialist for our functional set of services. ? Detailed Description and Job Responsibilities Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell. As a Master Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions. Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives. Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable. This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.
