Job Purpose 

As part of our Global Procurement Organization, you will play a pivotal role in building the foundations of a best-in-class content and supplier enablement program across the company, supporting us in our efforts to implement a market-leading P2P solution.  

 

You will have the opportunity to manage Procurement catalogs and work directly with our trusted suppliers & internal team members to drive catalog coverage & quality, optimize processes, and ensure appropriate buying channels are being utilized. 

 

You will analyze data to identify opportunities to move spend into catalogs, act as an expert for buying channel, catalog and supplier enablement topics, and educate stakeholders through training and standard operating procedures. 

 

This is a perfect opportunity for someone with deep procurement systems & process experience or interest to help shape an exciting pilar within our Procurement function.

 Key Tasks  

  • Manage the setup and ongoing maintenance of internal, vendor-managed & punchout catalogs, in both the build and run phases of our P2P implementation. 
  • Work with procurement, suppliers, and business users to constantly evolve the quality of our catalogs. 
  • Educate procurement, suppliers and business users on the appropriate catalog processes and catalog types, ensuring they follow the standards that are in place. 
  • Act as an expert on buying channel, catalog and supplier enablement topics, supporting more complex questions and projects when required. 
  • Analyze spend and catalog usage to identify new catalog opportunities. 
  • Review processes to look at ways to streamline, automate and improve end-user experience. 
  • Manage the supplier enablement mailbox ensuring our suppliers are supported in our supplier enablement activities. 
  • Create forms in our global P2P solution and analyze how spend can be moved to more controlled buying channels.  
  • Lead trainings and create standard operating procedures to ensure a high degree of accuracy and quality on all topics linked to buying channel, catalogs and supplier enablement.

Education Level 

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/qualification (preferably in business administration, economics, finance, technology) 

Experience Level 

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience, especially in the area of Procurement processes & systems.  
  • Knowledge of effective buying channels, catalog types and supplier enablement activities. 
  • Excellent knowledge of English (B2 minimum), additional languages would be advantageous. 
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (e.g. MS Teams, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint). 
  • Knowledge of additional technologies such as Jira, Confluence, qTest. 

 

Competencies: 

  • Good analytical and conceptualization skills 
  • Knowledge and expertise with ePurchasing tools (e.g. Coupa)  
  • Good process analysis skills and knowledge of process optimization techniques 
  • Basic project management skills (SCRUM and/or Waterfall methodology) 
  • Affinity to work with new tools and technologies 
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn new digital platforms and apply them for improvement in daily work 
  • High affinity towards digitalization, displaying digital mindset and behavior 
  • High self-motivation, solution-oriented thinking and creativity 
  • Good communication skills
