The Americas Accounting analyst role is a position within the Americas Controller organization. The role works closely with other members of the Finance organization, especially members of the FP&A, Corporate Tax, Corporate Accounting and Regional Shared Service teams. The Analyst will perform month end close steps associated with services, production, and selling entities within the AC & AT business line. Additionally, this group supports the AC/AT Business and global joint venture accounting (e.g. Fairway, etc.).


Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform all related related journal entries, financial flux, key judgments, internal controls, and management reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for the services, production or selling entities within the AC & AT business line.
  • Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to be reviewed by Team Lead.
  • Identify and cultivate productive relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
  • Prepare key ad-hoc reporting and analysis requested by senior leadership.
  • Consistently improve process and functional performance through innovative approaches to challenges.
  • Identify, solve, and/or escalate accounting issues to Team Lead, where applicable.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.

Required Education Level

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or related discipline, strongly preferred.
  • CPA or equivalent, preferred.
  • Master's degree, preferred.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2 years public accounting or private accounting experience, required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish, required
  • General ledger accounting, strongly preferred.
