This position will lead the team which engineers and maintains the Local Area Network, Wireless LAN, 5G & other mobile network technologies, as well as Firewalls.

This includes the architecture and engineering of new solutions, defining standards, and assuring adoption of these. Operations are performed by an outsourced Network Operations Center, for which this position has the service accountability.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the team of Local Area Network, mobile technology and firewalls engineers
• Performance and success of the Network Operations service providers
• Act as liaison between various IT teams, technical infrastructure teams and service providers
• Help create budgets estimates for ongoing support and budgets
• Manage resource plans and assignments
• Manage ITIL ticket systems, ensuring timely delivery of Changes and Break/Fix
• Track operational ongoing cost and project cost
• Deliver project tasks on budget on time
• Act as escalation contact, also for technical matters
• Manage problems and drive to resolution by direct involvement, bringing in own technical expertise
• Practical hands-on execution of tasks when required

Qualifications:

• CCNP Enterprise certification or equivalent
• Routing & Switching
• Wireless Networks
• PCNSE certification or equivalent
• Azure Firewall, NSG & Virtual Network
• 5G Core Edge Technologies and Private 5G implementation or maintenance practical experience
• Experience leading a global team
• Experience coordinating and working with teams of multiple disciplines globally
• Proven success of collaborating with non-IT stakeholders
• Knowledge of Information Technology methodologies, especially ITIL
• Practical experience in IT infrastructure design, implementation and support
• Ability to document precisely and at right level of detail
• Ability to define and follow processes
• Ability to translate business requirements into IT solutions and associated cost
• Understanding of financial impact of decisions
• Ability to clearly define problem statements and determine solutions
• Must have strong planning skills
• Strong communication skills
