Position Summary
Our Account Managers will work as a team with our Key Account managers to ensure a successful business partnership exists. Our Automotive OEM and Tier 1 business partners expect stable, exceptional performance.
Account Managers are expected to support all activities in association with the account(s) they support.
Education and Experience
- ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Experience in TIER 1 Automotive Industry and Ford or Stellantis or GM sales experience. (operate their Portals)
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3 years' experience in sales or sales support role, or proof of exceptional performance in a similar position.
- Ability to manage and lead multiple deliverables to deadlines.
- Advanced English level
Essential Functions
- Ensure customer service and satisfaction is felt across the account(s) you will support by tracking, organizing, reporting, and ensuring open customer activities are completed in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Support the Key Account Manager for all customer account management matters.
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Organize materials to support new program bids, program extensions, ECNs, capacity deltas, and piece price maintenance.
- Manage customer portal sales activities and ensure timely review of upcoming requests.
- Feasibility and capacity studies, Kick Off Meetings upon new business awards, outline packaging requirements, quote spare parts, follow up on prototypes and sample shipments, customer tooling management, data entry and retrieval from customer portals and special shipments.
- Serve as QAD sales expert. Submit pricing modifications, prepare invoice requisitions, assist with forecast and budget, and report on sales revenue, units, margin, and other topics as deemed by Key Account Manger
