As Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our fiber optic processes, including strategic planning, safety management, quality, delivery, costs, people and environment. You will lead a team dedicated to ensuring the efficient operation of the plant. Description

Security Administration:
* Implement security standards, achieve established goals and improve

Quality management:
* Design, implement and improve process sheets.
* Certify operators in process sheets.
* Apply audits to the process/product.
* React to quality problems, establish containment and/or correction.
* Label waste material and keep records
* Achieve a quality index of 100 PPM

Delivery Administration:
* Define kanban (maximum and minimum) of material in warehouse (RAW)
* Implement well-defined material supply routes
* Keep material transactions updated in the information system.
* Define kanban (maximum and minimum) of material in process (WIP)
* Secure stocked materials within workstations accessible to the operator
* Production stoppage recorder referring to lack of material
* Record production stoppages related to machinery problems and analyze MTTR, MTBF and OEE information.
* Equipment maintenance management
* Improve delivery and productivity

Cost Management:
* Flat budgets
* Manage personnel budget, overtime, indirect expenses, warehouse or MRO and scrap.
* Approve budget expenditure
* Prepare analysis and evaluation of investment projects.
* Improve costs

Staff Administration:
* Understand and apply the vision, mission, values, code of conduct, internal work regulations, policies and procedures.
* Ensure correct payment for your equipment
* Develop, evaluate and motivates employees
* Constantly communicate metrics
* Support implementation of lean manufacturing tools
* Maintain a good relationship with internal and external clients
* Maintain good relationships with government and private agencies with whom you have regular interactions.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience (7+ years) in a leadership role within the fiber optics or harnesses manufacturing industry, with a focus on plant operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, drive performance improvements, and achieve operational excellence.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
