Member of the senior management team reporting to the Automotive BU President and is responsible for the overall financial performance of the business unit. This position will lead the team (sales, marketing, business & partner development, support, product development, operations, finance), own the full product lifecycle (roadmap, development, delivery, support, end of life), and ultimately manage the business unit P&L and working capital.

Company focused on delivering high value connected vehicle solutions across regional markets, which mainly Europe & America. The organization sells, markets, deploys and supports relevant solutions throughout Mexico, and may target future expansion opportunities to include parts of Central America and the Caribbean as well.

Vertically integrating new broad telematics suite leveraging collaborative sales, market, product/offering and customer best practices, the company is expected to profitably grow both traditional Stolen Vehicle Recovery (SVR) services as well as the broader Telematics solutions business. While focusing on core channels (Dealer/OEM, Rental and Insurance), the company will seek targeted expansion opportunities in other key growth segments, including fleet, logistics, asset tracking, etc.

Description

  • Full responsibility for the operating unit P&L (profit & loss), balance sheet and operating cash flow;
  • Consistently deliver profitable growth ahead of market rates, by meeting / exceeding expectations;
  • With team, develop and consistently execute against annual operating plan metrics and commitments for all key performance indicators (KPIs);
  • Develop and execute approved operating company strategy, target metrics to exceed annual growth (revenue), gross margins & EBITDA;
  • Manage business, balance sheet and cash flow with transparency and integrity, proactively mitigate business risks;
  • Coordinate with corporate Finance and Operations leadership to develop detailed forecasts & budgets, manage inventory levels & drive cost and margin improvements;
  • Leverage existing team synergies, build and lead world-class organization and environment consistent with corporate values and principles;
  • Monitor and evaluate business and organization performance utilizing financial and operational metrics and analytics;
  • Support organizational improvement, facilitate personnel development and training Implement core incentives and plans to consistently exceed business expectations;
  • Regularly communicate and collaborate with corporate and international operating units;
  • Adopt and build upon technology stack foundation to deliver compelling SVR and Telematics offerings targeting core channels and markets;
  • Participate in corporate product/offering roadmaps and lifecycle process, define requirements and represent business case and ROI analysis to drive priorities;
  • Regularly collaborate with other international operating units and corporate teams, share best practices (tactics, strategies, offerings, etc.) for continuous improvement;
  • Support global initiatives for business and market expansion in targeted geographies and markets, collaborate on opportunities, customers, go-to-market models, etc.;

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field and an MBA or any other related Master;
  • Valid US and Visa and Passport;
  • Minimum of 10 years related experience in automotive and security and any other related markets and businesses;
  • Excellent level of English, spoken and written (all the interviews and filters will be in English);
  • Minimum of 5 years related General Director experience running businesses & teams with full P&L responsibility;
  • Direct domain experience with SVR, Telematics, SaaS fleet & asset management, logistics, transportations and/or related services, markets and related offerings;
  • Understanding and key relationships in one or more core channels: vehicle dealer/OEM, automotive insurance, vehicle rental (long/short term), fleet, call center, digital marketing, transportation & logistics, etc.;
  • High integrity with deep understanding of public US business principles and practices;
  • Proven leader with positive can-do attitude and ability to motivate large team;
  • Strong understanding of subscription-based solutions and services business practices including customer/subscriber acquisition, support and retention practices;
