Responsabilities


The PMT Project management specialist, eMobility/Mechatronics will work closely with the R&D business eMobility/Mechatronics areas to support, train and improve the PEP (MET)/VEP processes and systems. This will involve actively particpating in various new project development/launch meetings (e.g. - gateway meetings, M4 order meetings), running stress tests, taking part in internal and external corporate audits/layered audits and governing the Scaeffler PN processes for the region. Other responsibillities will include leading business demands for various process/system improvements


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree related to Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Business, or other similar academic subject area with a minimum 5 years of job experience in Project management in the R&D areas
  •      PMP certification desirable and 3 years' experience in PLM workspace (SAP / Windchill/CREO) desirable
  •      Experience with eMobility/Mechatronics processes, projects and tools (Windchill RV&S/ASPICE/ CodeBeamer) highly desirable
  •       Knowledge of the following business processes: Product development process, New product launch process (samples/prototypes), Product Change management
  •       Involvement in atleast one full-lifecycle new product launch
  •       Exhibits ability to work both in a team environment and independently
  •       Strong analytical, organization, time management, facilitation, and process management skills
  •       Proven high level of written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to communicate technical and non-technical information, ideas, procedures, and processes
  •      Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, and with multiple levels of the organization and cope with rapidly changing information
  •      Ability to evaluate and negotiate priorities and adapt to new/evolving individual and team assignments as adjustments are needed
  •      Ability to clearly communicate across all levels of an organization how current trends and technology can address identified business needs and capabilities
  •      Interact and work effectively with all levels of employees while maintaining a professional manner; willingness and efficiency in challenging the status-quo
  •      Maintains a positive work culture through teamwork & conflict resolution
  •      Expected to work occasional weekends, holidays, overtime, or a variety of shifts, when needed, to meet deadlines
  •      Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed to achieve business objectives
  •      Lead the implementation/improvement of new processes/tools through the Business demand management process:
  •      Understand & document business requirements
  •      Develop functional specifications from business requirements
  •       Develop, document, implement and present new solutions
  •       Coordinate the end-to-end testing
  •      Create training documents 
  •     Rollout new versions of the existing tools/processes in the region along with the Global team
  •       Provide Project Support and Training to key users
