We are looking for a Siemens Specialist Automation Senior Engineer for USA


We are looking for talented Engineers to join us during this exciting period of growth.

Currently, we are searching for a Control Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in PLC Programming, preferably with expertise in the Siemens. If you are someone who enjoys the challenge of creating ingenious and efficient solutions and possess a strong background in PLC programming, we want to get to know you.


MAIN ACTIVITIES:

1) Responsible for department wide overview of PLCs, HMI systems, VF Drives for the Coating Area

2) Work directly with all maintenance and operations personnel in a fast paced environment to help develop a safety focused and productive Coated Products Team and support electrical teammates to help maintain a positive and efficient work environment.

3) Provide continuous improvement of operation and function of Automation Control Systems and the Assigned Process.

4) Perform Failure Analysis for Automation Control Systems of assigned process.

5) Train others in the Electrical Department on the function and maintenance of Automation Control Systems.

6) Support plant operations and work with the Quality/IT departments to help attain production goals.

7) Manage the design, development, implementation, and procurement of hardware and/or software for Automation Control improvement Projects and provide support for other disciplines' projects.

Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with server and network device configuration and maintenance.
  • Siemens S7 hardware and software using S7 tia portal,
  • Wide knowledge on Control Networks (ethernet, profibus, etc)
  • Wide experience working with different electronic instruments such Temperature, pressure, flow, level, etc
  • Wide experience on the diagnostic for electric elements (relays, contactors, soft starter, motors, etc)
  • WinCC development, runtime, and redundant server and client applications.
  • Fluent with IBA Analyzer for Troubleshooting and adding signals.

Must have:

  • Electronic or Mechatronic Engineer degree and professional cedula
  • Minimum 5 years of automation experience in the metals industry.
  • Excellent level of English
  • Experience in the Steel Industry desirable. Experience in integrative companies.
