Purpose of function

(What is the main objective?)

·       This position consults with Directors and plant managers to identify, diagnose, and problem solve organizational effectiveness problems and solutions, designs instructional interventions; implements work group intervention strategies, e.g. organizational climate and other miscellaneous surveys, and interventions, coaching, mediation, and mentoring. Develops facilitation strategies and trains/facilitates in areas such as career development, supervisor training, mandatory training, conflict resolution, team building, skills training, workflow process or organizational change, project management; performs work group facilitation and mediation, coordinate strategic planning sessions and retreats.


Main tasks 

·       Followings and ensures of policy deployment strategies and development programs that align with the group Strategy through organizational needs analysis, management consultation, and provision of a variety of employee training and development programs.

·       Consults with management regarding organizational effectiveness and employee development needs; research and develop or review and recommend use of vendor-based materials or organizational development and system improvement projects. Works with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to evaluate skill gaps and how to effectively close the gaps. Consults with management regarding organizational effectiveness and employee development needs.

·       Consults with plant management across programs to identify, diagnose, and problem solve organizational effectiveness problems and solutions, designs instructional or performance-based interventions; implements work group intervention strategies, e.g., organizational climate surveys and interventions, coaching, mediation, and mentoring; may provide career counseling.

·       Facilitation: develops facilitation strategies and trains/facilitates in areas such as conflict resolution, team building, skills training, 360 evaluations, individual development training, mentoring, culture consultation, de-escalation, workflow process or organizational changes, project management; performs work group facilitation and mediation, coordinate strategic planning sessions and retreats. Facilitates and influences organizational changes such as quality initiatives and organizational reviews; researches new areas and develops proposals to aid top management in exploring and implementing organizational change; coordinate and facilitate strategic planning sessions for Vice Presidents, Directors, and Deans.

·       Gives coaching sessions for the employees with poor performance or with growing potential into the company.

Functional (minimal) requirements

·       MBA

·       HR Management / DO Management 5 years experience or equivalent

·       Coaching training

·       Current knowledge of, leadership and managerial skills and experience in a position
