Aspen Aerogels is a rapidly growing aerogel technology company founded in 2001 to capitalize on patented advances in aerogel manufacturing. Aspen has developed a proprietary aerogel material manufactured at scale and sold worldwide in the Electric Vehicle / Automotive, Construction, and Power Generation industries. Aspen is both a Tier 1/2 Automotive supplier and has its product in several subsea projects worldwide. Main Responsabilities

• Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor.
• Analyzing data collected and recording results.
• Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost.
• Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
• Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures.
• Analyzing audits of costs and preparing reports.
• Making estimates of new and proposed product costs.
• Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
• Maintaining Cost Accounting System.
• Assisting in Month end close of the General Ledger.
• Conducts physical inventories and monitors cycle count program.
• Reconciles finished goods inventories.

Education and Experience

• Intermediate English
• 3+ years of experience in a mixed of audit and accounting.
• Must have a BS in Finance, Accounting, Business or related area and three years progressive experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing business.
• Experience with Oracle/HFM highly desirable.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to interface with all levels of a diverse and global organization.
• Self-directed with a focus on process/continual improvement.
• Excellent organizational skills.
