Job Overview You in The Role and on The Team: In this role you will facilitate the creation, adoption, and use of tools and processes that enable our development teams to realize their full potential. This position partners with engineering and product teams to enhance our utilization of cloud platforms, ensure stability of systems, mature security compliance, further our CI/CD and automation, and more. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Participate in the Agile process with cross-functional development teams Contribute operational and systems expertise to the software development lifecycle Contribute to organization-wide processes and standards Automate infrastructure, software builds, testing, and deployments Share knowledge with other DevOps Engineers, Software Engineers Configure monitoring, reporting, and alerting for Mitratech products Contribute to the creation and review of architecture/infrastructure design proposals Actively participate in patching and secure operation of services Requirements & Skills: 5+ years of experience in DevOps or similar role.¿ Experience with at least one public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc) Familiarity with Linux and Windows Operating Systems Understanding of database systems (Transactional and/or NoSQL) CICD / Deployment Automation experience with at least one solution (e.g. Azure DevOps, CircleCI, Jenkins, GitLabs, TravisCI, etc) Some scripting experience (Bash, Powershell, Python, etc.) Ability to leverage internal APIs and develop solutions which help our Systems Integrate as seamlessly as possible. Infrastructure as code experience with 1 or more tools (Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation, etc) Understanding of autoscaling and/or highly available architectures Configuration management experience with 1 or more tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack, etc) Exposure to at least 1 monitoring tool (NewRelic, AppDynamics, DataDog, Splunk, Prometheus, Nagios, etc.) Familiarity with version control systems Nice to Have Containerization experience (Kubernetes, Docker, ECS, etc) Some exposure to security scanning and vulnerability tools We are an equal-opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
