Descripción

TigerConnect transforms healthcare with the industry's most widely adopted clinical collaboration platform - uniquely modernizing the way doctors, nurses, care teams, patients, and data connect. With solutions spanning care team communication, scheduling automation, alarm management and event notifications, nurse call, patient engagement and more, we accelerate productivity, reduce costs, and improve patient outcomes, safely and securely. More than 8,000 healthcare organizations trust us to deliver enterprise-ready solutions, making this possible with the right group of dedicated, thoughtful trailblazers. Today, private practice doctor's offices, small and large hospice centers, and some of the largest healthcare organizations in the United States rely on TigerConnect. We're a fun, hungry, smart, innovative group of eclectic people who are passionate about transforming the way clinical care teams work and communicate.

TigerConnect is seeking a Senior Web Engineer to help us build the next generation healthcare collaboration platform using the latest Web frameworks and patterns. You'll also be working with telephony and video (TeleHealth), threaded messaging, real-time group communication and machine learning to solve the noise-to-signal ratio problems that cost lives in clinical settings.

TigerConnect is an exciting opportunity for Web developers who want their lines of code to have significant and measurable positive impact towards solving one of this generation's most important challenges: unsustainable rates of growth in healthcare costs and inequities in how care is distributed. You will be joining our team in Mexico, as part of a cloud-native, client-first engineering organization that works in modern ways and seeks to continuously improve.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop and maintain complex web applications using React, Redux, and other JavaScript frameworks
  • Implement user-friendly interfaces in collaboration with design and product teams
  • Contribute to technical design, code reviews, and optimization of web applications for performance and scalability
  • Independently manage tasks, engage in project planning, and ensure timely delivery of project components
  • Actively participate in team discussions, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Support junior team members, contribute to their development, and foster a positive team culture

What You Bring:

  • Solid experience in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Proficiency with React and Redux or similar state management libraries
  • Minimum 5+ years of professional web development experience
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
  • Skilled in writing efficient unit tests and performance optimization
  • Proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle escalated issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with resilience and adaptability in dynamic environments
  • Comprehensive understanding of the full stack, including the ability to grasp end-to-end software development flows encompassing both frontend, backend, and DevOps

Bonus Points:

  • Contributions to open-source projects or an existing portfolio showcasing relevant work
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, REST APIs, WebSockets, and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest or Enzyme
  • Experience developing across the stack, particularly with technologies such as Java, Node.js, Elixir, etc; this includes an understanding of both frontend and backend development processes and tools
