JOB SUMMARY:


This role is responsible for administering the DENSO Risk Management Program and functions as the

corporate expert on DENSO's Risk Scoring Tool that establishes risk scores for new applications, systems or

processes.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

?

• Score business risks as they are identified by using the Risk Scoring Tool.

• Establish the North American Risk Register that tracks risks and their relative scores. Maintain this ever

changing register as new risks are identified and evaluated and existing risks are remediated.

• Establish a Risk Acceptance Process for risks that are considered acceptable business risks. Manage the

Risk Acceptance Process which includes summarizing the risk and its remediation costs, scheduling

hearings with appropriate risk owners, conducting the Risk Acceptance hearings and documenting results.

• Develop training materials for the use of the Risk Scoring Tool.

• Assist with the development and updating of information security training.

• Assist with the development and updating of information security policies.

• Present regular progress updates and status reports for the Risk Management Office.

• Performs other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Bachelor's degree - information security, computer science, risk management or a related field.


SKILLS AND ABILITIES:?

• Proficient in English.

• Understanding of general information technology practices and processes

• Understanding of the remediation necessary for information technology related risks

• Knowledge of risk management principles and practices

• Written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills. Ability to communicate with internal and

external customers on issues of moderate to considerable importance, up to and including senior

management.

• Analytical skills with an ability to independently evaluate and develop innovative solutions to complex

situations

• Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment

• Negotiation skills. Ability to defend position strongly while keenly aware of the need to maximize

benefits for all sides.
