Job Description

Main Objective

The Compensation and Benefits Specialist will manage compensation processes (salary, bonus and equity) and the HR data supporting these processes. Also mastering business intelligence for human resources through the use of data science considering internal data, market trends and their application in the plant.

What challenges will you have?

  • Support the timely execution of annual Salary, Bonus or Equity processes with attention to client experience.
  • Process compensation data changes in HR systems related to the Compensation process supported, including relevant documentation.
  • Conduct compensation administration activities and processes and follow all HR Operations policies and procedures to ensure effective client support.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve compensation issues or inquiries.
  • Evaluate annual salary increases, special market increases, annual structure adjustments, etc. to ensure they are within guidelines.
  • Validate policy compliance and accuracy.
  • Ensure all necessary documents and approvals are received and information is accurately entered into compensation systems.
  • Responsible for the submission process of Compensation Surveys

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuary or related.
  • Compensation certification/diploma is a plus.
  • From 3 to 5 years of experience in compensations area, preferable in automotive industry.
  • Advanced English level is a must.

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge in compensations and benefits processes
  • People Analytics experience
  • Total compensation by Mercer and WTW methodology is a must 
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and consolidate data as a practical approach to building robust processes and policy around benefits management.
  • Ability to engage and communicate with employees, understand their needs, and deliver benefits to them.
  • Benefits project management skills. Capable of overseeing benefit related projects across various time zones.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally between Benefits, HR, Payroll, and IT.
