OVERVIEW:

Supervisesand follows up on operational activities to ensure compliance with metrics, trains and assists buyers and expediters.

Responsabilities:

Oversees the placement of purchase orders in accordance with policies and procedures.

Review purchasing reports to take required actions.

Develop and evaluate the operating metrics of his area in charge.

Evaluation of the personnel in charge according to the established objectives.

Identify new sourcing opportunities.

Support for new business implementation.

Updating information in the master item when required.

Evaluate hiring and relocation of personnel according to the workloads demanded by the operation.

Train and resolve doubts, buyers and expediters.

Deliver to the Operations Manager the performance evaluation of suppliers, related to delivery time, errors, costs, and any metrics requested.

Experience & Skills:

Education: Industrial Relations Engineer, Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or similar.

English: Fully bilingual in both spoken and written communication (English and Spanish).

Experience: 3 or more years of experience in purchasing, indirect material tracking MRO and Logistics in the metal mechanical industry.

Skills: Negotiation Strategies. Knowledge of Indirect suppliers, ability for mathematical operations.

System: Management of ERP's, Excel (Formulas, Tables, Databases).

Customer service orientation.
