Managing Director (all genders)

Reporting to the President NAFTA, will provide leadership to the organization and have full profit and balance sheet accountability for the enterprise. This position will collaborate with the team to develop and provide the leadership and execution focus necessary to achieve long-term value-creation goal based in Puebla City, Mexico.

?Objective

To manage the organization to the right path that leads to financial profitability and year to date growth supported with the right strategies, processes and assets.

Specific functions

• Define and execute a strategic development plan for the Company. Reflected in the P&L and focused on all areas (operative and administrative)
• Customer Management with commercial focus strategic
• Assure business expansion in the country, analyze based on market trends the further investments for the company to assure business growth.
• Appraise operating and financial results through review of forecasts, budgets, and actual financials.
• Internal process review and update, detecting lacks and points of improvement by area.
• Leadership in strategic projects of the company
• Strengthen Schuler brand with the customers as well as establish close relations with them.
• Participate and promote safety culture in the organization.
• Assure sustainable growth of the organization. Achievement of results. Integration of the different plans from the main areas of the company: Finance, HR, Sales, Service. Properly assign objectives an integrate them in BSC form. 

What we are looking for:

• 10 or more years' experience in a Senior leadership role in metal mechanical industry
• Engineering degree and MBA
• Extensive experience at the Executive level in a Service Company, Tier 1 or 2 automotive supplier or an OEM
• Experience with commercial activities and business development.
• Experience managing and reporting with a multinational organization.
• Experience leading and developing large teams.
• Experience reporting at the Board level.
• Strong Operations Experience
• Strong financial knowledge with prior full responsibility for the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements
• Strong English and Spanish communication and presentation skills
