You will analyze business processes for a quality management system, from an IT perspective. This is an IT position, but heavily focused on customer interaction. Your main focus will be on identify, evaluate, develop and/or redesign systems and procedures to meet user requirements. You will also create detailed written user and functional requirements for developers and validation team and will assist in the development of training materials, as needed.

What you'll be doing

  • Partner with the business to gather, understand and document business objectives, specifications, and requirements.
  • Generate SDLC business validation documentation (i.e., User Requirements Specifications, Functional specifications) including technical documentation such as Design Specification, Configuration Specification, etc Should be familiar and capable of trace matrix generation.
  • Develop and implement system test cases, scripts and plans.
  • Define, design and document business flows and processes.
  • Define and articulate business rules required for data accuracy and consistency. Identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Identify, analyze, resolve, document and raise problems and issues that may impact the project. Use technical tools (queries, process maps etc.) for problem resolution.
  • Understand and follow appropriate SDLC, quality validation processes and application processes. Communicate status, solutions, and concerns. Disseminate information in a timely manner within the team.
  • Partner with the validation and technical teams to develop and complete unit/system test cases, scripts and plans.
  • Provide ongoing end-user support by assisting with solving issues related to system functionality, testing, training and documentation.
  • Act as a conduit between technical team and Baxter's Quality business organization.

  • Solid knowledge of the application development process.
  • TrackWise application knowledge is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering etc.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience working as BA


  • *Solid business knowledge of quality management system (QMS) processes, including CAPA, Change Control, Complaint Management, or Supplier Quality, is desirable.
