Our vacancy is: ESG (Environmental Social Governance) Leader

 

The owner of the position is subordinated to PWO de Mexico and has a dotted line to the Group ESG Manager of the Headquarters in Germany.

 

The scope of the position is divided into two parts: One is to support the Group ESG Manager with global ESG topics and projects and the other part are local Mexican ESG related topics 

 

Main Tasks:

•                   Support the Group ESG Manager with the implementation and operationalization of PWO Group's global ESG strategy and policies in line with all relevant regulatory requirements.

•                   Support in the conception and further development of a uniform ESG group reporting system

•                   Preparing group and local reports and monitoring the ESG initiatives, measures and actions

•                   Contributing to the further development of the risk management and internal control system with regard to ESG issues

•                   Develop and implement environment and social initiatives and the compliance to law and regulatory requirements in Mexican location.

 

Requirements:

 

•                   Bachelor's degree and above in at least one of the following fields: Economics, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, law or equivalent in a related discipline.   

•                   Proven analytical and excellent project management.

•                   First experiences with sustainability reporting guidelines (GHG Protocol and ISO 14040, ISO 14044, ISO 14067)

•                   Independent, reliable, and flexible

•                   Excellent teamwork skills as well as experience in a multi-national company

•                   Fluency in English (Advanced) (written and oral)
