Job Summary: Metalsa is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage customer accounts, ensure timely payments, resolve payment issues and discrepancies, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers. Responsibilities:

• Generate invoices, including manual transactions such as scrap, intercompany, and tooling.
• Create invoices based on purchase orders, considering all applicable discounts.
• Periodically review account statements with customers.
• Follow up on past due balances and address customer discrepancies or deductions.
• Verify customer credit approvals and applicable payment terms.
• Perform month-end close activities, including provisions, intercompany reconciliations, and results presentation.
• Handle payment application, analysis, and reconciliation.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Develop and maintain weekly collections forecasts.
• Address discrepancies and deductions applied by customers efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Technical degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1-2 years of work experience in accounts receivable or related area; 3-5 years of total work experience.
• Fluent in English (70% proficiency).
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with Oracle is a plus.
