Guarantee feasibility and calculate tooling and mechanization costs on blanking and forming dies.

• Manage Method Planning for stamping tooling, from the concept stage to the hand-over to Industrialization Team (CPM).
• Maintain close contact with in-house tool shop (Weba) in Europe to define project time lines, feasibility and tooling costs.

• Guarantee pre-acquisition technical feasibility for pressed parts via usage of Autoform software.
• Be able to develop specific Autoform material models, when needed, to improve accuracy with TRB blanks.
• Be able to modify CAD models to optimize forming simulation and propose design changes accordingly

Requirements:

·     BS Mechanical Engineering, preferably with focus on Automotive Engineering

·     Extensive Experience with Autoform software

·     Knowledge of MS Office package (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)

·     Experience with Catia and/or NX

·     General hands-on mechanical experience with automotive or similar products

·     Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·     Customer oriented and entrepreneurial mindset

·     English advance
