As a Payroll System Manager in Ruhrpumpen, you will be responsible for the leading implementation, operation, and support of the Payroll System Globally, moving from local systems and teams to a centralized payroll team and system (SAP). This role requires comprehensive understanding and experience of Payroll Operations, effective team management, analytical and strategic thinking.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute the global SAP payroll migration, by finding and coordination SAP software developers and local payroll experts.
  • This role ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll compliance with international payroll laws and regulations, and provides leadership to a team of payroll, SAP consultors and IT professionals.
  • Find, negotiate, contract, manage, coordinate, and develop SAP IT providers that ensure the implementation of payroll SAP system in all countries.
  • Design, develop, document, and implement SAP Payroll processes for Ruhrpumpen's operations in both development and production for Mexico, and multiple countries and regions.
  • Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for USA and multiple international locations already on SAP.
  • Ensure timely and accurate calculation and disbursement of salaries, wages, benefits, and tax agencies.
  • Ensures proper compliance with USA employment tax regulation for employer and employee.
  • Oversee testing and production of year end processes in the US, W2, W3.
  • Stay up to date with local and international payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee and ensure proper support to stakeholders of SuccessFactors, establish and organize priorities with the team.
  • Manage internal IT SAP SuccessFactors expert and manage all external suppliers involved on SAP SuccessFactors development, operation and support or all modules.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of payroll specialists, ensuring they have the necessary tools, knowledge, and resources to perform their roles effectively.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, set goals, and provide training and development opportunities for team members.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of SAP HCM and SuccessFactors is a plus.
  • Several years of progressive payroll experience. 
  • Knowledge of payroll legislation, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in payroll software and systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a proven track record in managing and developing a team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing regulations and business needs in a dynamic global environment.
  • Desirable experience in leadership roles.
  • Fluent English skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge on tax and Labor laws interpretation.
