YOUR TASKSLeadership
and Team Management:
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a diverse team of
engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, professional growth,
innovation, and excellence.
Resource
and Competence Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive resource and competence plan
to ensure the team has the necessary skills and expertise to execute
projects effectively.
- Closely collaborate with HR to recruit, onboard, and retain top
talent and to Identify areas for skill development and training
initiatives to enhance team capabilities and stay ahead of technological
advancements.
- Cost Centers planning, financial, hourly rates,
Capex, HC resources.
Collaboration
and Communication:
- Establish and maintain close connections with counterparts &
stakeholders in the USA and Europe to facilitate seamless collaboration
and knowledge sharing.
- Act as a key liaison between the Mexico Technical Center and other
global teams, ensuring alignment on project goals, timelines, and
deliverables.
- Active collaboration with cross function areas (QD, GPS, EEX) and
OS.
Development
Processes and Quality Assurance:
- Drive the implementation of efficient development processes and
methodologies to streamline project execution and improve time-to-market.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, identifying areas for
process optimization and implementing best practices while ensuring
meeting quality standards and other product requirements.
- Integrate the right technical and skill competences for each
Product Center to meet customer and project requirements.
Budget
Management:
- Work closely with finance and project management teams to develop
and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and resource
allocation to maximize efficiency without compromising quality or
innovation.
- Monitor actuals to budget (cost absorption, reporting rate, Capex)
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS- Academic degree, PhD or equivalent professional background
preferable in (electrical) engineering
- Several years of (international) management experience in the field
of automotive technology & engineering
- Profound and deep knowledge and background in automotive or
technology industry
- Experience in leading, inspiring and transforming multifunctional
international teams including having excellent stakeholder management
abilities
- Strong characteristics and experiences with a pioneering spirit,
creative thinking and change management
- Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication & presentation skills (English) and
capability to adapt to a demanding environment
