Description:

The (Model Based Design) HiL developer (MBD) is part of an agile development team building and working on enterprise grade software systems on top of the C, C++, Simulink and MATLAB Scripting development stack. The focus is to review requirements for the multiple projects and translate them into Logical Models as well as compile them in C and C++ code.

Position Responsibilities:

The main activities for a HiL MBD developer includes:

·        Understand software technical requirements

·        Use UML diagrams and flow charts to translate requirements

·        Create State flow models using Simulink

·        Create Simulink logical model for ECUs functionality

·        Create C code and C++ code

·        Compile libraries in C and C++

·        Use C and C++ libraries in MATLAB and Simulink

·        Participate in SCRUM meetings

·        Report progress using Jira

·        Create and maintain technical documentation

·        Collaborate with members of external regions.

Skills and Experience:

·        College or University degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics or a related discipline

·        Strong desire to learn

·        +2 Years of experience developing ECU Models

·        +2 Years of experience developing C, C++ and Simulink Models

·        Experience using MATLAB scripting with Data Structures,OOPs concepts, Variables and data types, File handling concepts, Exception Handling, Generators, Iterators

·        Teamwork

·        Effective communication skills

·        Proactive

·        Proficiency in English

Desired Skills:

·        Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts

·        Software management tools such Git and GitHub

·        Knowledge and usage of agile frameworks such as SCRUM

·        Ability to communicate in a written and oral form and interact internationally with other teams.

·        Auto management skills.
