Shipping Supervisor

Description:

Responsible to coordinate entire shipping operation for all the goods on time according to the OTTR (On Time To Request) current goal and to administrate the Finished Good inventory. Responsible to provide all the paperwork needed to complete exportation process on time, working together with Trade Compliance department to guarantee all the trailers will be crossing the border on time.

Main Responsibilities: 

• To guarantee 100% of the orders will be shipped on time (according to the ship date).
• To guarantee 100% of the paperwork is provided on time according to the current procedure. 
• To make sure all the loads maintain the product integrity (0% for damages to Finished Good) and 100% of the trailers are loaded at maximum capacity and to ship the orders complete.
• To work with traffic department to guarantee trailers availability for the 100% of the orders and make sure to avoid any shut down on production line.
• To determine the best option to send the outbound shipments (ground, ocean, rail and small parcel) where the plant is responsible for paying the freight (back orders, guarantees, etc..) making sure to provide all the paperwork necessary to clear customs on time.
• To make sure all activities are executed following all Hussmann´s Safety and Quality Guidance. Assure all employees execute their job following all Hussmann's Safety Guidance and Quality procedures... (0% of personal injuries).

Requirements:

• Bachelor´s Degree
• Demonstrable knowledge leading a shipping operation and its processes. 
• Ability to negotiate with Transportation Service Providers (TSP).
• Personal Management, Customer service skills, organized.
• General knowledge of the INCOTERMS and Import/Export formalities.
• Strong Leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently with good planning and judgment. 
• Safety/Environmental Effectiveness
• Intermediate English (B1-B2)
