For the Customer Center of the IAS (Industrial Assembly Solutions) Division in Mexico, we are looking for a Service Workshop Technician (m/f/d) to join our team in Puebla. JOB DESCRIPTION The service workshop technician will be responsible for all incoming and outgoing equipment requiring corrective and preventive maintenance in our repair center, therefore he/she must keep a quality record based on the last failures reported by the customer, as well as carry out a repair record so our customers can know which materials were used for this maintenance and which tests were performed on the equipment as well as keep a quality control so our customers can be aware of the Atlas Copco standard. This position works closely with the internal service sales department to exceed customer expectations. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work independently on daily tasks in the Repair Center and Innovation Center. Have a record per customer of all maintenance performed during the year. As well as the control of consumption in spares parts and supplies for maintenance. Be responsible for customer´s call back, technical support and problem solving. Regular customer visits to find out their demands and service business opportunities during service trips. Work closely with internal service sales department. Provide technical and quality feedback of equipment and IAS performance according to customer´s feedback. Be responsible for the management of his/her dedicated tools, IAS equipment, work safety, fire protection etc. Timely and correct execution and documentation of work order (Service orders, service reports, use of resources, etc) EXPERIENCE 3-5 years in technical service preferably in the automotive industry KNOWLEDGE MS Office 365 Advanced English language skills (spoken and written) is a must EDUCATION University degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar COMPETENCIES Professionalism Responsibility and accountability Results orientation Customer focus Self-organization Attention to detail Growth Mindset AUTHORITY Reporting to: Service Operations Coordinator Diverse by nature and inclusive by choice Bright ideas come from all of us.
