Accountable for the planning and implementation of high impact investment Projects related to Controls and Automation UPE (Underbody Process Engineering).

 

1.- Develop all the projects and investment studies code 1 and 3 as well as those assigned to UPE according to the requirements of the corporation whose purpose is the assembly of a new model, these projects include volumes, capacities, budgets, lay outs, facilities investment programs and apply from the study of a new equipment or tool to the planning and execution of a new plant.

 2.- Issue the final investment project according to guidelines and specifications of the corresponding platform and product engineering, development of final lay outs, issuance of programs and control plans, as well as packages of specifications of tools and equipment according to guidelines and standards of the corporation.

 3.- Technical selection (RECAP) of suppliers for the manufacture of equipment, tools, devices and / or facilities through timing coordination with them for design, construction, installation and technical support, in accordance with previously established specifications and guidelines.

 4.-Preparation and authorization of work estimate and signature for invoice payments with physical verification of work executed, engineering and / or acceptance of equipment (according to the terms of the purchase order).

 5.- Perform measurements and estimates of work progress (m², kilos, tons, etc.....) to measure the work estimate.

 6.- Control and administration of the work requires time, quality and funds.

 7.- Preparation, making and Follow up of purchase requisitions for approval and placement.

 8.- Follow and delivery pilot material to suppliers.

 9.-Supervision during the certification test and 20 hours according to the specifications.

 10.- Prepare and issue the requisitions of facilities for the installation of tools and equipment, including lay outs detailed and approved by plant personnel.

 11.-Preparation of the process sheets for the assembly of new models, or of the new series according to engineering specifications of the product and the platform and delivery of these to the plant.

 12.-Implementation and development of new technologies for application in our plants and thus achieve continuous improvement of processes and product.

 13.-Coordinate the installation of equipment and tools, try outs, certification tests and assurance of the proper functioning of the equipment according to Chrysler specifications.

 14.-Development and / or approval of the AMEF´s.

 15.-Lead and coordinate the pilot units “Gamma, Pre-Pilots, Pilots”.

 16.-Assist the material handling personnel in lay outs and in plant for the identification, location and assortment of the materials in plant when these are new or some process is changed.

 17.-Train plant personnel in the use of new tools and equipment.

 18.- Follow and verification of specifications during the construction of tools and measuring equipment for product verification.

 19.-Coordination with industrial engineering of the assignment and sequence of operations.

 20.-Assist the plants in the launches.

 21.-Resolve all discrepancies and reports of process disagreement, attributable to the equipment, tools and process sheets, delivered to the pilots.

 22.-Selection and assignment of pneumatic and electrical tools for the production lines in order to achieve ergonomics and improvements in quality indicators (safety, delivery, quality, cost and moral).

 23.-Perform a process verification to see possible interference of the welding points with assembly tools and ensure that they meet the product specifications.

 24.-Ensure that the quality assurance system is established, documented, implemented and maintained according to the requirements of the quality assurance and environmental manufacturing system.

 25.- Know and apply Stellantis policies and procedures such as travel expenses, code of ethics, etc.....

 26.- Comply with the minimum required environmental training, which is specified in the pasp003 procedure (competence, awareness and training), of the quality and environmental manufacturing system.

 27.- Ensure compliance with the requirements of the WCM that apply to this position, as well as its development, control and delivery to the client.

All these activities based on the international standards and focus of PMI/PMP.



Basic and Preferred Qualifications:


Mechatronic, electronic, electromechanical, mechanic, administrative or industrial engineer qualified (preferently master's).

5 years total experience

minimum of 2 years in the automotive industry, with experience in manufacturing processes on chassis or battery assembly lines and in particular in welding processes. As well as experience in the integration and installation of machinery and test equipment. Experience in implementation strategies of new manufacturing projects and capacity increases.

 

Knowledge:

machining, assembly and project control processes, knowledge in specifications of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems applied in the acquisition of new equipment.

 

Competences:

personnel management and leadership, decision making, customer service, teamwork, work under pressure, proactive, planning and organization of activities knowledge and management of wcm, r&m / eem, gd&t, fmea's, mqas, tpm and tms tools.

 

This is a temporary contract (18 months)
