Accounting Manager

Position Summary:

The Accounting Manager at Impro Industries Mexico is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all accounting and financial activities of the company. This role requires deep knowledge in accounting, leadership skills, ability to work under pressure, and experience in team management. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, at least 5 years of experience in similar positions, advanced English skills, SAP experience, and extensive knowledge in accounting, tax, and financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and supervise the accounting team to ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting, including monthly and annual financial statements preparation and tax preparation and validation.

2. Prepare and validate financial statements, as well as conduct financial analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

3. Lead the monthly accounting closing process, including reviewing and validating the trial balance (TB) and supporting detail for every balance sheet account.

4. Manage treasury activities, including bank account management, investments, and cash flow management.

5. Coordinate the preparation and validation of monthly, annual, and deferred taxes, as well as manage tax-related matters regarding the "Maquila" regime and IMMEX processes.

6. Oversee accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) management, including supplier reconciliations, issue resolution, and difference validation.

7. Lead legal management, including legal document preparation, shareholder meetings management, and contract oversight.

8. Approve expenses and supervise the expense approval process.

9. Conduct cost and expense analysis to identify areas of efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.

10. Collaborate closely with the engineering team to understand production-related costs and manufacturing processes.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

2. Over 5 years of experience in accounting coordination or similar roles.

3. Advanced English skills, both oral and written.

4. Previous experience using SAP or other ERP systems.

5. Deep knowledge of accounting, tax, and financial processes.

6. Leadership skills and ability to work under pressure.

7. Basic understanding of legal processes related to trade and IMMEX regulations.

8. Ability to perform financial analysis and make data-driven decisions.
