We are looking for Sr. Project Engineer Nuevo Laredo, for manufacturing company.

Functions and Responsibilities

• Directs and pushes the development of projects from its definition, conceptualization, detail engineering, cost evaluation, justification, construction, implementation, training, and closure, always giving a professional service of turnkey projects to the customer department.  Plant level, Division Engineering, NPI and Global Cost Reduction Initiatives   
• Development of research and technologic innovation projects           
• Develops projects related to the efficient use of energy resources and materials.
• Develop budget for plant services.
• Lead manufacturing changes related to new product introductions and engineering changes.
• Design, build and program control and instrumentation systems for new equipment.                                 
• Supervises the mechanical design and tooling/dies of new equipment when it is subcontracted.                                
• Justifies and executes capital investments.                                       
• Provides technical support to engineering, operations, and quality assurance.                             
• Participates in engineering review boards, acceptance runs and machine start-up.                                      
• Provides training to Process Engineering and Maintenance Technicians in the operation of new equipment.                            
• Communicates to all departments involved the status of progress of their projects and upcoming events, as well as involving them in the strategic decisions of the development of the project.                                                            
• Maintains complete documentation of all your projects and tasks.                                                                               
• Leads complete projects or assists in the development of projects led by another engineer in the mechanical section develops operation and maintenance manuals of new machinery.

• Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering
• Fluency an precision English
• Visa and Passport

• Design of fixtures, tooling and/or dies
• Mechanical and Hydraulic Presses
• HVAC Systems
• In different Types of welding (MIG/TIG, GMAW)
• In machining equipment (Lathes, Milling, CNC equipment)
• Autocad and design programs
