If you're ambitious, driven and team-spirited, this is your opportunity to continue your career as an Engineering Change Coordinator in Ramos Arizpe.

As an Engineering Change Coordinator you will provide support to the Engineering, Production and Quality area to achieve established business objectives regarding Engineering changes; Ensure the correct implementation of small, medium and hard changes in the production lines, avoiding obsolescence and extra costs to the plant, searching for productivity ideas that allow improving VCM.


Your responsibilities will include:


Frequent:

  • Daily meetings with the program team to review the status of monitoring activities
  • Request for impact evaluation in different areas of the plant
  • Management of the Tigger platform to track engineering changes in the system
  • Control and administration of the engineering cage
  • Management, manufacturing and sending of prototypes to the different OEMs


Occasional:

  • Reception and review of technical information for new projects (BOM, drawings, standards,)
  • Active participation in required VA/VE activitie
  • Coordination of technical changes, plant tools and suppliers
  • Manufacture and evaluate prototypes of proposed changes to validate feasibility
  • Follow up on customer plant deviations
  • Generation of engineering change status reports (KPI)
  • Obsolete monitoring due to engineering and plant changes
  • Perform feasibility analysis of engineering and product changes


Key requirements:

  • Previous experience working with OEMs (TESLA, GM, RIVIAN, FORD )
  • Problem Solving Methodology
  • Product and process testing management including initial materials planning management
  • Knowledge of materials, plastics, fabrics, vinyls.
  • Knowledge in technologies such as plastic/foam injection, cutting, sewing and lamination.
  • Core Tools
  • Tigger/SAP
  • Interpretation of plans / GD&T
