Descripción

Oversee the Finance department to ensure the timely and accurate management of financial information pertaining to the plant. Conduct analysis of financial statements in adherence to the prevailing Financial Reporting Standards in Mexico for reporting to corporate. Proactively prevent crisis situations and maintain financial equilibrium within the plant.

Description

  • Develop the accounting strategy and financial management framework for the plant.
  • Provide supervision to the personnel under one's authority.
  • Facilitate smooth communication with the Plant Manager.
  • Oversee general accounting, tax compliance, and audit functions.
  • Generate reports and key performance indicators translating corporate objectives into measurable parameters to accurately assess achieved results.
  • Conduct Lean Principles practices to uphold standards of organization and cleanliness in the work area.
  • Ensure alignment with and utilization of formats, records, and documents from the Quality Management System relevant to the assigned area.
  • Adhere to standards set forth by our customers and suppliers.
  • Uphold and respect labor regulations, as well as the organization's code of ethics.
  • Contribute to the preservation and safeguarding of the company's assets integrity.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Preferably experienced in the automotive industry or a similar role.
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in financial reporting standards.
  • Experienced in external financial audits.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and legal obligations.
  • Skilled in personnel management.
  • Proficiency in office management, particularly Advanced Excel.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Capable of working effectively under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Adept at working collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Skilled in information analysis.
  • Capacity to resolve issues effectively.
  • Proficient in planning and organizing tasks.
