Main responsibilities:

The role of the Maintenance Engineer is to ensure the proper functioning of the equipment by applying preventive and corrective maintenance, supervising, guiding and verifying the repairs and/or installations that are being carried out according to acceptable quality and safety standards.

The main objectives of this profile are:

• Develop an annual preventive and predictive maintenance plan
• Follow up on maintenance activities on the floor
• Review ANDON boards and implement improvement actions
• Schedule extraordinary activities for corrective maintenance
• Capture work orders for the technician to perform preventative maintenance
• Upload requisitions to SAP and track them until the purchase order is sent to the vendor.
• Assist suppliers to quote various jobs that are required
• Attend to machinery failures, corrective maintenance
• Update TPM boards with check sheets, lubrication letters and review their compliance.
• Development and manufacture of safety devices for machinery and equipment
• Review Safety Devices in Preventive Maintenance
• Upgrade and automation of existing machinery
• Movement of machinery by Manufacturing action
• Train production staff in TPM
• Train technical staff to unify knowledge
