Description - Internal

Global Network Services Latin America (GNS LAC) organization partners with banks and financial institutions to issue cards and acquire merchants on the American Express network. Through these partnerships, GNS increases the number of American Express cards in the markets, enhances merchant coverage, and provides exciting and innovative new products around the world. This position has the responsibility to leads teams or individuals directly or indirectly in the business development on the American Express Global Network. This position primarily will provide support to the Latin America Region including among other countries (Mexico, Central America and Ecuador). 


Reporting directly to the GNS B2B Head, the incumbent will provide strategic thought leadership and relationship management to facilitate the expansion of the GNS B2B business across different regions with our existing partners and will be responsible for creating new B2B opportunities from deal conception to deal execution.



REQUERIMENTS

  • Ability to manage multiple prospects and ensure yearly plan targets including signing new partners, B2B PV, increase the number of buyers and suppliers (Partners Customers) and PTI are met or exceeded.
  • Ability to manage an acquisition pipeline, detecting new opportunities, negotiating with prospects and signing new partners.
  • Built partner relationships at all levels and leverage these relationships to ensure partners fully understand and buy into the GNS B2B model and strategy.
  • Review and interpret trends in the markets/ issuing, acquiring and B2B Payments that he/she is responsible for and make recommendations on how to drive the business forward.
  • Work closely with cross functional groups – Sales, Technologies, Operations & Finance to ensure consistent delivery of services to GNS to support business needs and continuous process improvements to maximize growth.
  • Operate in compliance with all applicable laws and procedures for all markets.
