What awaits you?


•    Conduct thorough pre-selection evaluations of potential suppliers for e-mobility components.
•    Lead and support 360° evaluations to assess supplier capabilities.
•    Perform preventive quality checks during the nomination process.
•    Develop, manage, and shape nominated suppliers to meet our stringent quality standards.
•    Ensure the timely ramp-up (industrialization) of production for assigned components.
•    Collaborate with suppliers to define and agree on reliability indicators and critical quality characteristics.
•    Proactively identify and resolve any issues related to the component's manufacturing process and quality. Document all corrective actions taken throughout the project lifecycle.
•    Guarantee parts availability for all production phases and key milestones of BMW project launches.
•    Successfully guide suppliers through the pre-production (SOP) process.
•    Work collaboratively with suppliers to identify root causes of problems and implement sustainable solutions.
•    Maintain consistent and proactive communication, providing feedback to project stakeholders and management.

 

What should you bring along?


•    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electronic, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
•    3+ years of combined professional experience in automotive manufacturing quality processes, component expertise, and relevant part technology & processes.
•    Proven knowledge of quality and project management principles.
•    Expertise in industrializing supplier production processes.
•    Ability to handle complex and numerous topics and issues efficiently.
•    Fluent English skills.
•    Willingness to travel regularly, potentially weekly.
•    Excellent teamwork and communication skills in a multicultural environment.
•    Analytical and structured approach to problem-solving and task management.
