POSITION: PACKAGE ENGINEER

• Education: Engineering
• Experience: 5 years in materials or logistics
• Languages: Conversational English

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Manage, develop and satisfy customer and plant needs related to packaging, following customer specifications, approvals for new launches and current programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Development of packaging suppliers.
• Validate quotes from packaging suppliers.
• Cost benefit analysis of different packaging suppliers.
• Development of packaging in new projects.
• Logistics development, definition of packaging loop by program.
• Submission of packaging proposals to program managers, presentation.
• Sent/updated packaging proposals on client portals.
• Control / reconciliation of returnable packaging with customers, mail and portals.
• Control and supply of cardboard packaging in the plant.
• Follow-up to transit of spare parts.
