As a Senior Quality Manager in our automotive company, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects related to quality in complex assembly processes. We are seeking a proactive and experienced leader who can ensure high standards of quality in our products while continuously driving improvement and efficiency in our processes.

Description

  1. Supervise and manage the quality control team to ensure compliance with established standards.
  2. Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies to optimize complex assembly processes.
  3. Coordinate with different departments to identify and rectify quality issues at all stages of the manufacturing process.
  4. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure the quality of components and final products.
  5. Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with quality standards and propose corrective actions when necessary.
  6. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce defects in products.
  7. Participate in the development of new products, ensuring that quality requirements are met from the design stage to mass production.
  8. Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  9. Ensure compliance with quality requirements established by relevant regulations and standards.
  10. Collaborate with other departments to implement total quality practices throughout the organization.

Profile

  1. Proven previous experience as a Quality Manager in the automotive industry, with a focus on complex assembly processes.
  2. Advanced proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written.
  3. Deep knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, PPAP, among others.
  4. Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a multidisciplinary team.
  5. Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  6. Excellent communication skills and ability to establish effective interpersonal relationships.
  7. Results-oriented with the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  8. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. A relevant certification is a plus.
