Our company uses a wide variety of machinery that are complex electromechanical assemblies which involve precision designs a combinations of technologies - e. g., electric motors, magnetic drives, hydraulic systems and power distribution, pneumatic functions, programmable processes, digital displays and controls, touch screens, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), operations management, combustion systems, cooling and refrigeration systems, electronic transmission, and electrical control panels.

In many cases, our equipment designs are the result of the adoption of specialized and proprietary processes that have been engineered and designed by our engineering staff over several years.

Main responsibility is to maintain and repair any failure or potential failures that arise in the machinery. Also, as part of the responsibilities is to update and maintain all the technical documentation (blueprints) with any changes made, required to facilitate production and maintenance. Technical manuals associated with the repair and overhaul of our machinery must also be created and maintained.

In this capacity, the employee also performs engineering duties related to the research, development, design, assembly, maintenance, and service of mechanical equipment used in the production of food products.

The mechatronic engineer also works with other engineering and technical staff to develop creative design solutions that are low cost, easy to manufacture, and maintain, with an emphasis on quality, producibility and reliability. His assigned duties include, among others:

·       Design, develop, and test all aspects of mechanical and electro-mechanical components for automated food production equipment.

·       Design, develop, and test all necessary automation programming on PLC.

·       Apply knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as ovens. conveyors, controls, mechanical machinery, etc.

·       Utilize AutoCAD software for computer-aided design of machines and components.

·       Work on machine tools, material handling systems, and industrial production equipment used in food processing.

·       Design tooling needed for production and manufacture of mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment.

·       Integrate new and improved components into mechanical equipment.

·       Research, evaluate and specify components to be used.

·       Communicate with vendors regarding new mechanical, electrical, or other technical products to incorporate into new designs.

·       Modify designs to ensure optimum performance and quality.

·       Document changes and design criteria for each project.

·       Oversee installation, startup, and tuning of new design components in machines.

·       Install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment.

·       Train production staff on operation and maintenance of designed equipment and components.

·       Any other task as requested by the company.
