JOB DESCRIPTION

The FP&A DTC Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the financial success of our Direct-to-Consumer business segment. Will be responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis process, providing valuable insights to enhance profitability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the strategic growth objectives of our DTC channel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Develop and manage the financial planning process for the Direct-to-Consumer business segment. Create detailed financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the financial health and performance of the DTC channel. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize revenue, margins, and expenses.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process for the DTC business, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company goals. Develop accurate and timely financial forecasts, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Ensure financial statements are in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to understand business drivers and provide financial insights for decision-making. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop financial strategies that support DTC growth objectives.
  • Profitability Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of product profitability, SG&A control to drive EBIT margin efficiency, and other relevant metrics. Identify opportunities to enhance profitability through pricing strategies, product portfolio and cost optimization.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and analysis. Streamline financial processes to support the evolving needs of the DTC business.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

List required minimum education, years and type of experience and the competencies (knowledge, skills & abilities) required to perform the job.

Include the complexity of decision making and problem solving.

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced certification is a plus.
  • >4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a DTC or e-commerce environment.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and analysis tools; advanced Excel skills required.
  • Strong understanding of DTC business dynamics, including KPI's, financial models, investment scenarios and customer acquisition costs. Strategic Business Partner.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and enhance the efficiency of financial operations.
  • Work under pressure
