We are looking for an experienced Video Editor with a passion for, and experience in, editing food or lifestyle content to join our rapidly growing team. This is a great opportunity to become an innovator in the social media advertising editing space and a part of an exploding industry while working remotely as part of a dedicated creative team. This is a full-time role, Monday-Friday, on-site in our Mexico City studio.
You will:
Edit short-form social videos for a variety of platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) in both an internal and client-based environment
Quickly assemble edits and implement notes from producers and clients
Collaborate with Producers, Heads of Creative, and other Editors to create multiple iterations of video concepts
Brainstorm ideas with the team to create videos for editorial and client launches
Quality Control all exports to ensure videos are up to First Media's standards
Perform timely turnarounds of assigned projects with attention to deadlines
Openly receive regular constructive feedback on videos through all stages of the editing process
Leverage your knowledge of and passion for the social media video space to use for inspiration
We're looking for:
At least 2 years of experience in social media editing for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and/or YouTube
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, including color correction, audio editing, text placement and light motion graphics
A solid internet connection and the ability to stay organized and productive in a remote working environment
A Bachelor's Degree and fluency in English are strongly preferred.
