Transnational metal-mechanical company requests: Controller

Education: BS in Finance or Accounting, preferably with CMA or MBA, but not required based on experience.

Experience: over 10 years of accounting/finance experience; Preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience with general ledger, ERP systems (Epicor)and other tools utilized by the organization to run the business

Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

This position is responsible for the company's financial plans and policies, its accounting practices, conducting its relationships with lending institutions and the financial community, maintaining its tax records, tax management, and preparing financial reports. The position involves supervision of general accounting, property accounting, internal audit, cost accounting, and budget controls. Additionally, this position is responsible for preparing relevant information for management and/or external parties acting in accordance with local regulations.

Directs the financial affairs of the organization and prepares financial analyzes for the operation, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance of management. Overall responsibility for providing financial/business analysis to support , including but not limited to support for monthly financial notes, business reviews, product analysis, market analysis, investment analysis, variance analysis (from forecast , budget and previous year), strategic planning, special projects, working capital improvement analysis/actions, balance sheet audit and review, and M&A support, SOX, Capex,

Minimum of 5 years of financial experience, with both financial and general accounting background. Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
