The purchasing manager's mission is to coordinate the management of suppliers for products necessary for the needs of production flow and to manage the team of the suppliers on a daily basis
Main activities:
- Manage the Buyer team (effectiveness and efficiency) and ensure the right level of mastery of skills the team and compliance with procurement practices defined·
- Responsible of the supply performance: In connection with sourcing, implement and monitor action plans, in the event of deviation
- Lead the execution of procurement operations and ensure control of these operations via a control plan.
- Deal, at his own level, with operational problems encountered, and to escalate blocking points to sourcing or DOI
- Propose, define and lead internal and external improvement projects and identify development needs
- In coordination with Sourcing/SPI, actively participate to supplier relationship management for all operational aspects (participation to supplier periodical performance review, to supplier visit/supplier audit in regards to inventory/safety stock management
- Participate in improving supply flows and define and improvement plans with suppliers targeted and involve the stakeholders concerned (sourcing/SPI)Manage and coordinate operational SCM subjects (crisis situations, coordination of global actions such as BCP, transfers, etc.)
Perfil:
10 years of experience in SCM (5 years minimum in purchasing)
Automotive and/or aerospace industry is a +plus
Direct & indirect purchasing
Experience leading teams, not necessarily a manager
Relationship with suppliers
Audit experience (especially capacity analysis)
Advanced english
ERP, SA0 (+plus)
