This role will provide legal support to our LATAM businesses. Must be a qualified lawyer in Mexico or Colombia and have excellent verbal and written English and Spanish communication skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

·      Draft legal documents such as policies and procedures, nondisclosure agreements, supply and distribution contracts, and terms and conditions

·      Manage day-to-day legal questions and legal needs of businesses in Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, and Chile (some others as well), and reporting to U.S. Legal Department

·      Provide administrative and corporate secretarial legal support for LATAM business operations

·      Demonstrate effective knowledge and experience in contract negotiation

·      Provide advice and counsel to business leaders on various legal issues related to intellectual property, labor, and various other matters

·      Conduct research as assigned and report findings in written or verbal narrative

·      Other duties as assigned by business and legal leaders

·      Act as compliance liaison for LATAM

·      Review and provide feedback on internal policies and procedures

·      Adept at managing work from various sources and able to adjust work priorities due to changing deadlines and demands from various instructing attorneys

·      Work with corporate and local counsel on legal claims and litigation matters throughout LATAM

Requirements & Qualifications

·      8+ years of experience as a lawyer

·      Excellent interpersonal communication skills

·      Detail-oriented

·      Highly organized and able to multi-task

·      Ability to receive instruction from multiple business leaders, prioritize tasks, and work independently

·      Ability to educate workforce on various legal and compliance topics

·      Demonstrate sound judgment when working through complex issues

·      Ability to analyse, problem solve, and clearly communicate observations and recommendations

·      Maintain highest levels of confidentiality and integrity
