JOB OBJECTIVE

Suppliers follow up, getting a good performance of suppliers during the incoming inspection and production at CV SBU, active participation on supplier's new products or changes on current parts, administration of area, developing personnel on charge and maintain the Quality System related requirements and / or documentation.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assure that all supplier´s products for direct material, had been validated as good, before use for production. Against defines internal and regulatory standards.
• For any Commercial Vehicles concern related to suppliers, report, share and give a follow up through correct documented Metalsa´s system (chargebacks included). For Metalsa´s of direct supplier purchased materials.
• Management and develop the personnel on charge, assure the correct procedures, available documentation and creation for any control needed to assure the good performance of supplier´s products.
• Use or follow the correct and corresponding core tools or standards (PAQP&CP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, IATF, Customer specific requirements, etc.) for new supplier´s products responsibilities, to assure the good performance.
• Maintain a good team work and negotiations between Suppliers and Metalsa, involve to internal areas (product and process engineering, process quality specialist, procurement, etc.) needed to solve and close any the supplier´s concerns
• Visit according to established schedule to national or foreign suppliers or specials events.
• Budget area administration
• Materials laboratories reports interpretation.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor´s degree in Engineering

Essential fluency in English language for communication.

2 years' experience:

• Automotive Industry
• Steel supplier quality,
• Powder or electrostatic painting, on stamped parts.

Knowledge

• GD&T,
• SPC, GR&R, PPAP process.
• APQP
• IATF
• Problem analysis and solution methodology
• Laboratory material testing
• Knowledge in galvanizing (desirable)
• Advanced Excel

Availability for domestic and international travel to the USA.
