ERP Developer (RPG Programmer)

3 to 5 years of experience required?

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field or demonstrated relevant experience.?

The role requires a talented, self-starter to join their IT team in supporting their implementation of Orion ERP solution hosted on IBM iSeries. 

 Role Responsibilities as ERP Developer 

• Liaise with Technical and Functional leads regarding business requirements; assist in defining change requests and evaluating proposed solution.
• Develop software solutions according to defined requirements and create supporting documentation for in-house customizations to Orion.

Role Requirements

• Professional experience in ERP development, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Programming experience with IBM iSeries, CL, RPG (including IV and Free-Format), ILE, and SQLExtensive experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle (requirements gathering, design, coding, code review, testing, deployment, maintenance).
• Understanding of ERP modules including A/R, A/P, G/L, Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Reporting.
