A product cost specialist in electronics is the team member in charge of preparing quotes for PCB assemblies and / or harness groups for lighting division. Is the driver for the costing in acquisitions and D&D phase

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

• Engineering bachelor is a must (Industrial, electronics, etc)
• 5+ years experience in previous similar positions is a must
• Technical knowledge in manufacturing processes (PCB assemblies and/or harness groups) and financial figures (cost accounting and profitability) is a must
• Good English proficiency level is a must
• High knowledge in Microsoft Office package; specially in Excel (Macros add value) and Power Point
• Analytics and with high sense activities prioritization
• Proactive and with good communication skills

Tasks

• Preparing quotation calculations, taking local circumstances into account (machines, lines, production workflows etc.)
• Support and advise project managers in economic matters, within the framework of the acquision & development process, in close cooperation with the project team, and indicate reference/actual deviations by means of calculations accompanying the projects
• Drafting or preparing documents for price negotiations to be carried out with Sales or customers, taking appropriate calculation methods into account
• Prepare project-related calculations (product life cycle) for new or modified designs in project development, as well as introduce Design-to-Cost (DtC) measures
• Suggesting suitable measures for achieving prescribed internal and external cost targets or cost reductions before and after SOP
• Determining target specifications for purchased parts/components and supports purchasing in managing price negotiations with suppliers
• Involved in all cost optimization processes/ECMs to evaluate impact
• In some point carry out project profitability calculation and financial key figures calculation for business decision making
