Financial Systems Analyst
A global professional services firm is currently seeking an Analyst to assist the team in maintaining financial systems, management reports and proprietary budget models that are critical to the success of the financial operations. Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the maintenance and support of P\S\L's corporate ERP system, management reports, and Business Intelligence tools. Position reports to SVP, Enterprise Solutions and Support
Responsibilities:
- Provide End-User support for ERP and Reporting tools as needed
- Assist in the implementation of current and future phases of corporate ERP system
- Maintain and support all implemented modules of corporate ERP system
- Review and document existing financial processes and propose process or system improvements or automation to reduce cost and make the global finance team more efficient
- Develop and deliver end-user training sessions and documentation to ensure effective utilization of financial systems and reporting tools across the organization.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools to recommend innovative solutions that drive continuous improvement.
Requirements: The skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this position include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent discipline
- IBM Cognos BI / TM1 experience a plus
- Deltek Maconomy experience a plus
- Understanding of Finance/Accounting concepts is a plus
- Self motivated and able to work independently
- Strong organization and communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets
